Since November 3rd, 2025, TCommander Bot no longer supports proxies with credentials (username and password). This change was prompted by a Chrome browser security update that blocks proxy plugins. We covered this in our announcement: Proxy Switcher Is Safe Again.
From now on, the only supported proxy type is credential-free proxy—also known as IP-authenticated proxy.
Many users have faced issues transitioning to this setup. This guide walks you through the correct configuration and ongoing maintenance to keep your proxy connection stable.
Problem #1: Misunderstanding Proxy Requirements
Many players assume their proxies require a username and password. In reality, most proxy providers offer IP authentication, which doesn’t require credentials.
What Is Proxy IP Authentication?
IP authentication is a method where your proxy provider allows access based on your public IP address instead of login credentials. You simply whitelist your IP in the provider’s dashboard, and the proxy becomes usable from that IP—no password needed.
If you’re unsure how to enable IP authentication, contact your proxy provider’s support team and ask how to whitelist your IP.
The process is simple:
- Find your public IP (assigned by your internet service provider).
- Add it to the whitelist in your proxy provider’s dashboard.
- Done! You can now use the proxy without credentials.

Problem #2: Proxy Stops Working Over Time
Even after successful setup, proxies may stop working. Why?
Your public IP address can change periodically, especially if your ISP uses dynamic IPs. This breaks the IP authentication.
What You Can Do
- Re-check your public IP.
- Update the whitelist in your proxy provider’s dashboard.
- Repeat this process whenever your proxy stops working.

Want a permanent fix?
Use a Virtual Private Server (VPS) or Dedicated Server to run TCommander Bot. These environments have static IPs that never change. Alternatively, ask your ISP to assign a static IP to your home setup—though this may require router configuration and could incur extra costs.
How to Set Up Proxy Without Credentials in IPRoyal.com
Follow these steps to whitelist your IP and use proxies without login credentials:
- Check your public IP Visit IPRoyal IP Lookup to find your current public IP.
- Access your order dashboard Go to the Orders section in your IPRoyal account and open your order details.
- Find the Whitelist option Scroll to the bottom of the page to locate the IP whitelist field.
- Add your public IP Enter your IP address and save. This enables proxy access without username/password.
- Test your proxy in Mozilla Firefox Before using it in TCommander Bot, verify the proxy works in Firefox. (See section “1. Setup your purchased proxy” in our manual for Firefox setup.)
Proxy Maintenance Tips
If your proxy stops working:
- Repeat steps 1–5 to update your IP whitelist.
- Consider switching to a VPS or static IP setup for long-term stability.
